Empower Fest

Empower Fest 2025 brought together young people, artists, and advocates on June 1st at Sala Europa in Ploiesti for a vibrant celebration of inclusion, creativity, and community. Held in honor of Children’s Day, the event featured inspiring talks on urban accessibility, engaging theatre and live music performances, and hands-on workshops in project writing, prototyping, and 3D printing. Surprise prizes and a collaborative spirit fueled the day, as participants came together to imagine a more accessible future, reflecting the core values of the Erasmus+ SENSEMAPS project.

3D Printing Workshop

Embracing the values of solidarity, respect, and equality, we’re thrilled to have successfully hosted our very first 3D-printing workshop. With Fusion 360 as our tool, we dove into designing tactile maps—innovative creations aimed at empowering visually impaired travelers to explore their environments with greater independence. This workshop wasn’t just about technology; it was about coming together as a diverse team, united by a shared commitment to inclusivity. What we’ve started is just the beginning, and we’re excited to continue building a future where accessibility is at the forefront of everything we do.

First meeting

This was the first meeting with the Sensemaps participants, held at Vigo Grand Hotel in Ploiesti. During the event, we introduced the project and its timeline, followed by an interactive workshop on writing projects that address social issues. Participants were divided into four teams and took part in both the workshop and a treasure hunt themed around human rights and social activism. The atmosphere was dynamic and engaging, and the participants expressed great enthusiasm throughout the activities. They especially appreciated the hands-on approach and the opportunity to collaborate and learn in a creative environment. At the end, we offered small prizes and materials as a token of appreciation.

ZBOR Hub Ploiesti

Yesterday’s Community Project Writing Workshop brought together passionate volunteers from Eurospirit, eager to learn how to transform ideas into powerful community projects.
After exploring the key steps for building initiatives with real impact and discovering the values behind Erasmus+ and the SENSEMAPS project, participants were divided into teams.
Each team designed a project proposal aimed at improving the community while respecting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

We witnessed creativity, ambition, and a true spirit of social responsibility, exactly the energy we need to create a better tomorrow.

Brainstorming

On April 17, the SENSEMAPS team brainstormed bold actions and crafted inclusive experiences to empower our participants.
With innovation, creativity, and collaboration, we’re shaping a future of unity, learning without borders, and youth-driven change.
