Who are we?
BraveBots is a high-impact robotics team founded in 2016 at Mihai Viteazul National College in Ploiesti, Romania. Competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge, they are not only known for their engineering excellence but also for their powerful commitment to education, accessibility, and community development.
This year, they qualified for the FTC Premier Event in Eindhoven, Netherlands, after demonstrating advanced problem-solving, strong documentation, and outstanding teamwork.
BraveBots is more than a robotics team — they are a community of young changemakers who blend innovation with empathy, using technology as a bridge between education and social inclusion.
What are our accomplishments?
- Organizing over 35 events in 2024-2025
- Reaching more than 13,000 participants through workshops, exhibitions, and educational caravans
- Creating meaningful content that engaged around 450,000 people on social media
- Supporting special education centers, promoting tactile technologies, and designing inclusive learning tools
