What is SenseMaps?
Sensemaps, an Erasmus+ project funded by the European Union, is reimagining public transport for those with visual impairments. With the power of technology and innovation, we’re turning stations into spaces that can be felt, not just seen—using tactile maps to guide every step toward safe, confident, and independent journeys.
What Will Participants Do?
- Explore 3D technology and design tactile maps for visually impaired individuals
- Learn how to merge innovation with social impact in a project with real-world applications
- Collaborate with a team of passionate individuals to turn ideas into concrete solutions
- Contribute to visible change—these maps will be installed in Ploiesti transport stations by October 2025
